The New Dawn of Time

the new dawn of
time under the rose petals
the sound of laughter

a million buds
blossom in the meadow
this spring of Oz

scent of the morning glory…
the luminous castle of great joy built
with your kisses

seduced by the spring
of beauty, my dream wanders over
the flowering moon

like the rosella on heat,
i dance on the bed of flowers; tasting
the scarlet plum of desire

a chorus of vivid
colours under the deep blue sky…
gentle waves of delight

behold the tempting
eyes of beauty in my visual field…
how sweet is your essence?

enchanted
evenings of passion in Findon
destiny’s kitten

the songbird
sings a lovely tune; celebrating
the fecund universe of the heart

Hi Fancy, this poem is earthy and lush and ripe. Taking the attributes of spring to the physical senses is a wonderful combination.

Hi Fancy, thank you for the comment on my poem. You have been my best teacher these past four years! I aspire to one day be as good as you.
