Sharing the Light

i venture into
the stratosphere of compassion
like the sub-atomic particle
dressed
in love and emotion
sharing the light
feeding the hungry souls
in the baby universe of wonder
one refugee
at a time

new voices
capture the medium
tears of joy

the cricket sings
a lovely tune
with humour
and
tenderness;
touching
my heart
sharing the love
truth
and passion

poetry speaks
with lips of fire
on the wings of compassion
turning
on the inner light and
nourishing
my soul;
banishing
pain
and suffering forever
