riding the tiger
i curry favour with the cosmos
the end of sorrow

a long match
to the depth of the Truth
autumn leaf

i bow to the Great Leader
of the universe
the author of my being

sing to me, cricket,
the beautiful
songs of joy foretold

field of dreams
i trek the rough edges of reason
the sound of broken life

i capture the elusive muse of destiny
the inner light
that animates my consciousness

i listen to the new voices
in the passionate vortex of desire
evening cool

fishing for the light
in deafening silence
i savour the sublime sweetness of your Dream

your essence glows in my mind’s eye
like this candle
in the temple of wonder

i probe the mysteries
of Terra Australis with the eye of an eagle
under the flowering sky

i fly like the gleam of light
into the heart of oneness
energising my soul

Days of Solitude

after a thousand days of solitude,
i glide into the heart of the beloved
like the love bird of the realm
like this desert rose on a mission
breaking the back of adversity;
dining with the angels in the temple of capitalism

the golden moon
dances on my pillow
oozing love and desire
i taste the sublime freshness
of the baby universe
in the crack of dawn

i dwell in the crystal waters of your essence
savouring
the magic
fragrance of happiness
tinged with a wonderful
display of tenderness

the divine providence
shines upon me, this glorious moment;
blessing my soul and
liberating my consciousness
opening the quantum wave
of opportunity beneath
the skin of reality

i see the light of oneness in my orbit
as i feed the hungry soul
this day of days
i stand on the sumptuous wings of desire;
seducing the Divine
melting the cold heart of reason

you endow me with
the wonderful gifts of joy and inner peace
transcending the negative thoughts forever
i crack the secret code of survival
listening to the mesmerising sound of flowers

Lonely Night

in the dark
and lonely night
i find the light
turning grief
into great relief

love birds
in the hot pockets of desire
whispers of the soul

how wonderful
is the love-light of the heart
forged in the tough furnace of perfection
at the dawn of time

i become the true son of the universe
sharing the moment;
kissing you with sparks;
stemming the tide of entropy forever

animated by the lifelong
dream of flying
i take the citadel of learning by storm

flushed with beauty
i dance with love particles on
the mound of Venus

out of the shadows
i worship on
the alter of your sweetness

you sing my name under
the rose petals
and the word becomes flesh

i touch the hand of the Divine
the creative spirit
who seduced me
in the primordial garden
blooming with desire

love flows through my veins
in the darkest hour
nourishing my soul

i drop the amour of destiny
opening the window of opportunity
in this voyage of wonder
