The Divine Flower

you’re the divine flower
of reason
the fragrance
of beauty
that blossoms
in my orbit
in the first light of dawn

i am the lion of destiny
holding up
the sky
and keeping my life
in motion
in the
accelerating
universe of wonder

you’re love’s glorious gift
the smiling
pearl
of promise
that weaves
the blissful dream
in this cave
of shadows

now, you
sing my
name
with lips
of fire
blessing my soul

The Cloud

you plough
through the darkening cloud
stealing the moon

like the smart neuron of the soul
you turn on the light
pulling the golden strings of time

it’s the longest night
in Findon
tears of the refugee

you cross the Rubicon from
refugee to citizen
tasting the dream sublime

you’re the Eve of desire
veiled in mystery
feeding my longing in silence

the sunbeam flirts with
the moon
daring to dream again

The Rainbow

i am the rainbow
in your orbit
mending
your broken dreams

i am the grain of sand on the beaches of time
the solitary soul in motion
whistling with
the gentle wind that moves me

i am the eye
of a thousand stars. The stars
that quiver as
the waking bird sings

i am the son of Light foretold
in the endless universe
of diversity
raking the fallen leaves with gusto

i am the heart that beats for you
in the moist hour (such glorious moment)
sharing the gift of grace over
the crescent moon

i am the illustrious son of Dawn
waltzing with metaphor
witnessing the
maiden flight of the autumn leaf
