The Island of Dreams

endless struggle
on the island of dreams…
stormy night
yet, this boat of mine
continues to sail along
the passage of wonder;
waltzing with the waves
(there’s a sense of wellbeing
even of joy and
excitement in the
subterranean region of my heart);
embracing the light
like all these pebbles
on the Henley Beach

Spring Rain

epiphany
on the mound of Venus
spring rain

quiver…
i open the cherry
flower of desire

cosmic nymph
estrogen dances in the
heat of passion

laughter
in the camp…
colourful dreams

email from Venus
her thoughts drop like honey
on my hungry soul

flushed with desire…
how sweet is
the face of the new dawn?

hot spring
i sip
her divine nectar with glee

The Mystery of Survival

Love particles liberate my consciousness as she sings my name with flaming lips of desire. I savour the divine scent of jasmine with a smile.

 spring time…
the young lions on the move
sharing the moment

They walk across the glistening landscape, near the hill of promise, dressed in the vivid colours of the Dreamtime. A surge of pleasure as the new dawn approaches. But a bad patch in the City of Light changes everything. Time whispers. Hope withers and dies.

fishing
in the silver sea…
i sing the blues

In the darkest hour of need, text messages chatter and scream and ask for mercy. Only the moon comes to the rescue; energising my soul; dancing to the rhythm of the earth, this night of nights. The mystery of survival flows through my veins, like the gentle river of time; changing the face of the future for ever.

they come
like angels in the morning; sowing
the seeds of destiny

Tears in My Eyes

another day
in the school of hard knocks
tears in my eyes

waning moon…
broken
spirits in the ‘hood

years of solitude -
i walk along the fatal shore
with tender foot

the silent cry
for help unheard,,,
famished night

on the wings of hunger
the lost boy
dreams of home

i sit like
an orphan betrayed
reading haiku

cloudy sky lingers
i touch
the broken hearts

Wings of Spring

wings of spring
in my visual field
wattle blossoms

i walk lonely in the winding
path guided by
the light of a single atom

after the shower of love molecules
the sweet bud of time
dances in my veins

yellow moon
over the gum tree…
sound of spring

new seeds awake
from their winter dreams
rivers of nectar

rosemary in bloom
fragrance
of wonder in my room

the rainbow lorikeet sings
the song of joy
capturing the moment

Ode to God Particle

you bathe my
soul in the light of wonder
feeling the power of God particle

now, you bring matter
into being; nourishing the elusive
atoms and quarks of time

like the moon in me,
you infuse my being with the thinking
particle of desire

you are the invisible
force of nature; the omnipresent
author of my life

you, Higgs boson, flirted with passion
after the Big Bang
rousing the love molecules in my veins

i break into joyfulness as the cosmic wave
dances to the rhythm of the earth
how wonderful is your essence; oh, Precious One

you are the music of light, the creative
impulse holding up the sky: can the spider’s web
exist without the design and the Designer?

behold the dark enigma
showing the divine lights of love
comforting my humble soul

you are the glue that holds
the secret of the universe; giving
birth to TOE, the theory of everything

Haiku Rain

the golden wattle blossoms
filling my
emptiness with dreams

fresh face
in the ‘hood…the scent of
jasmine on my pillow

haiku rain…
nourishing the naked trees
of Findon in silence

your sweetness runs through
my veins
like the gift of life

little nuns of delight
in my visual field, how delicious is
the taste of your lollipop

love bites…
savouring the blissful moment
under the rose petals
