Fragments of Dreams

you step into the limelight
dressed
in fragments of dreams

your inner light shines upon me
in the moist hour
nourishing my soul forever

i ride the flowering dream along the
winding path
holding up the universe with glee

you are my joyful flame of destiny
the edible
fruit of wonder whispering to me 

i watch as you glide into my orbit with
a necklace of poems
capturing the echo of real happiness within

Dance of the Divine

poetry dances to the sound
of silence as the liquid
light shines upon me
transforming
my body and soul
words run through my veins
as the fire of your
divine poetry
burns ever so brightly
blessing my days
i find the Way, the lost metaphor
of reason beloved of the gods
i morph
into the soul of the beloved
like the divine drop of nectar
like the love particle on a mission
to rescue the wandering sun
you whisper to me
in the secret heaven of desire
under the rose petals
as the word becomes flesh
binding hearts and minds
in the blue waters
of the imagination
where love was born
i devour the moon
like a joyful soul under the poetic light
(in the defining moment of clarity)
sparkling like a lonely star
in the spaces between shadows

Heart of Wonder

lonely heart of hearts in Hanging Rock
there is
a place for you in my orbit of life

your sweetness shines through
the fog
putting a new spin on this painful life

cold winter’s night under the gum tree
i taste
your dream with flaming lips of desire

and the divine inspiration drops like honey
blessing
the moment under the rising sun

the bluebird sings of love and joy in the
land of Oz
painting a rainbow of fun and broken dreams

two words meet
on the blank pages of time
apple blossoms

you are the word that runs through my veins
the magic flower of reason
whispering the divine secrets of life in my ears

i devour the word like the hungry lion
of the realm
energizing my soul in the fecund light of day

you are the fragrance of desire
the hidden
power of the word within

i watch as your word flickers like the star
on the pages
of life charged with love particles

you are the powerful word of words in the deep
recesses of the brain
the perfect gift of the mind that made me

Hopeless Night

hopeless night on the Snowy Mountain
i manufacture
the power of hope in the greatest hour of need

i sow the seeds of joy in the garden
of wonder
before the first light of dawn

i morph into your essence on the mound
of Venus
weaving dreams in absolute silence

you watch over me like the cosmic maiden
with a thousand eyes
sheltering me from the chaos of this painful life

behold a cupful of hope in my orbit
garnished
with the divine grains of laughter

like the fragrance of the antipodean sun
i rise and triumph
waltzing with the morning glory of my dreams

The Villa of Promise

sensing the new dawn
i rise early
like the wandering sun
in the spaces between
deprivation and existence
feeling your presence
i find myself
in the great villa of promise
on the frontier of reason
sipping a nice
cup of you
with hungry lips
as love blossoms in earnest
putting a smile on my face
i bask in the naked beauty of your sweetness
dreaming
of the living poetry
of the morning light
clothed in love
i open up
like the autumn rose in triumph
learning to fly
i blend and embrace
the new dawn
as the earth moves
nourishing my soul
in the divine
flame
of your essence

Autumn Bliss

the golden leaf drops
like honey
maximising my autumn bliss

you come to me in waves
of desire
rocking my gentle world forever

you are the autumn cheek of my dreams
the magic fragrance
of the soul holding up the universe

the suns of autumn flirt with time
under the golden light
blooms flourish in my secret garden

the hungry birds at play over the
crescent moon
heightening my longing

cool autumn day. i walk like a soul
possessed
raking the fallen leaves with gusto
