you are the divine nectar of fire running
through my veins
generating light in the dark places of the soul

you re-create a sense of joy and wellbeing
in my orbit
transforming my life in so many ways

i soar like an eagle on heat
like the rainbow
lorikeet over the naked mountains blue

i wrestle with the new dawn under
the gum tree
exploring the consciousness of the beloved

i find the true north of my being
my true destiny
in the spaces between dreams

i plant my seeds in sweet silence
tasting your
essence as the heart sings

savouring her goodness

the restless neutrinos

as i feast

the narrative
thread
of reason and happiness
in the
fecund garden of life

of learning
chasing wisdom
and sunshine
in the
scented galaxy

child of great promise
a survivalist

on the face (praying for mercy)
marching like
the leading force

facing
