Passion

i witness
the birth of passion
as the divine light filters
through my soul
kissing me with sparks

my heart
leaps for joy
as love dances in my orbit
i morph into something new
something better, something more exciting

i dwell on the mound of Venus
and feast on her nectar sublime
we share the cup in silence
touching the heart…
exploring the depth of dreams

i wriggle
like the snake in the Nile valley
like a soul possessed
in the gentle
light of dawn

her infectious smile
mingles seamlessly with
the love particles within
as the radiant cloud of passion rocks my world
liberating my consciousness
