chasing shadows
the genius of selfie foretold
the emptiness
of the soul in disguise
email from the edge
the search for meaning, the rise and fall
of complex emotions
the moon in her element
texting
the realm with gusto
the soul in Instagram…
fleeting
images of fun and frivolity
imagining the naked self in the
virtual universe of desire…
the terrible beauty of self-infatuation
i burn with joy on the digital
screen of wonder
as brain neurons light up the world
