Living the Dream

on the trail of the divine
in the turbulent mountain
over the rainbow
i put down
some roots
where
a thousand flowers bloom
living the dream
feeling the gentle hand of promise
(as joy flows
through my being)
hope rises
like the morning sun
like this child of destiny
weaving
the precious magic
of poetry
in the creative pursuit
of perfection
this glorious day
i capture
the visual splendour
of the moment
with lustful eyes
riding on the brooding wings of hope
shining
like Neptune
serving up the delicious dreams
of life (in exile)
under the emotional force
of a soul reborn
