The City of Dreams

i roam far and wide
in the city of dreams
clothed in the sublime
garment of light

i transform
my life as time weaves
its magic
in the spirit of the moment

i sink into the skin of heaven with glee
gazing into the breath of life that nurtures me
in this suburb of shadows
reawakening my sense of wonder

i savour a spoonful of dreams
opening the door to a brave new
world of timeless beauty
and transcendence

your goodness rains upon me
as i cuddle the moon in silence
who says you cannot reimagine
the inner beauty in the age of selfie?
