The City of Dreams

born in the city of dreams at the end
of the rainbow
i build the future from the ashes of time

i encounter the forces of reason
the wonderful
glow of light that made me

knowledge comes to the rescue
shaping the mind
and moulding my dreams with golden hands

i embrace the fecund universe with passion
finding the missing
pieces in the puzzle of existence

my soul opens up
like a rose
blooms flourish in Oz

behold a perfect stranger in my orbit
a secret song
that unlocks the mysteries of the universe

you guide me to the secret garden
of wonder
nourishing my soul as new life blossoms
