sound of hope
in the broken world of shadows
as the rainbow lorikeet sings
your divine nectar
runs through my veins
feeding my dreams
on the glorious wings of hope
excitement stirs my body and soul into action
changing everything
as spring blossoms under the lustful
eyes of the wandering sun
i journey through the power of hope
morphing into blossom
i watch as you say the Word with glossy lips
whispering like the gentle wind under the rose petals
you are the fragrance of wonder
the charming dream that reigns over my heart
blessing my soul
with the precious gift of light
