of the rose
in the garden of everything
feeling
the creative
force
and savouring the moment
as poetry drops like honey
you mould me
into existence
in the vagrant universe of desire
a universe rich in metaphor
yet, like the child of light
in the process of becoming
i travel through time as rose blossoms
i weather the storm with grace
softening the pain of adversity
now, in this stunning moment,
i regain my life in full
discovering my potential
i sharpen the edge of my soul
with your gentle touch
as the earth spreads her wings
her gift of beauty sublime
i recreate
the world of ambition
unlocking
the mystery of survival
with a broad smile
on my face
i ride the waves
of time with hungry lips
finding my amour
and rhythm
under the rose petals
now i sow my kisses
in the crack of dawn
transforming the realm
like the sweet apple
from heaven
i morph into form
finding hope
and fortitude
in the vista of the glorious dawn
