The Flowering Light

i bend the light as the earth moves
searching for edible beauty with limpid eyes
and taming the tangled web
of life
in the
crack of dawn

i move towards infinity
trembling like the naked wind
like the lustful angel of the realm
seeking the sun
under the darkening sky

i sit on the edge
of the lonely universe
longing for you
searching for your essence
on the flowering wings of solitude

in the orbit of life
i find solace
in the sugar-coated
radiance
of the full moon
the centre of my being

Autumn Colours

like a soul deprived
the autumn leaf
withers
and dies
on the fatal shore
mercifully
losing its spark and colour
in splendid isolation
yet overwhelmed by
the fragrant light
in the moist hour
my love for you blossoms in earnest
like this
jacaranda in my visual field
thriving
in the sparkling
universe of wonder
a universe of colour and beauty

Epicurean Night

in the ecstasy of desire
i find your essence
under the rose petals
this epicurean night of nights
i feel you as i ride
the waves of destiny
a ride tinged with love and pain
and pleasurable moments
how wonderful is the taste
of your nectar, the divine
gift of love
that runs through my veins
nourishing my soul forever
and opening my senses
to the universe of sounds
and sights unseen
(the liberating scent of joy immense)
i fly like an eagle
in the city of shadows
i devour the night
with flaming lips
learning the secrets of life
as the mystery unfolds
there is a flash of light
and whispers of love
in the inner sanctum of my being
this hedonistic moment
