the new door opens
and the Future
draws my soul into
her luminous orbit
pulling me back
from the brink
with delicate fingers

basking in the light
i discover
the inner
secrets of life
the true
depth of love
in the age of enlightenment

i smooth the rough
edges of reason as
imagination
colours my yearning…
i liberate my mind; finding
an immediate solution to my
years of anguish

i soar
like the hum of the cosmos
like this muse of desire
feeling
the sublime
power of your essence
in the womb of creation

behind the delicate winter scene
you dance
with great passion; sharing the light…
pushing the boundaries
of desire as the wind blows
my heart beats
like the talking drum of destiny

happiness runs through
my veins like this river of time
just as I conquer the fear of adversity
i find the pathway to survival
in Terra Australis
a silver lining
even in the darkest cloud

winter’s night
one atom touches my lonely heart
songs of praise

saints and sinners
in the Dreamtime garden foretold
the rise of white blossoms
the vivid memories
of first love portrayed
how wonderful
is the tender hand of the beloved?

i hover in your orbit
like the love particle on heat
re-imagining the “i”

the ancient night
weaves a new
vision
of reality
with words
of love
feeding my dreams

i come of age
in the nick of time
eating the moon

and the earth moves
and the frisky neutrons
strut their stuff
in silence
i take
a chance
on you and win

love illuminates
the attic of my consciousness
purifying my soul

a fracture

the thought of divine love runs

like the river of destiny

i search for the truth
in Terra Australis
stirring the lonely hearts

something
of a novelty

a shooting star

Songs of the Lost Boy

like a refugee from Mars
i arrive with nothing
nothing but the tears of sorrow in my eyes

lost in the ‘hood
only the moon comes to the rescue
providing succour; wiping away my tears
with a gentle hand of many colours

grains of love
on the fatal shore
feeding my hungry soul

i emerge from the thorn bush
of destiny with a necklace of poems
counting my blessings
drinking a wonderful cup of you

you whisper to me
in the moist hour; tempting me
with a drop of honey

i sense your sweetness in the air as i wander
into the wilderness with feet of clay
searching for the magic blossom
chanting the secret code of survival

new dawn. A ride on
the funky train changes everything
sowing the seeds of wonder

i search for the home
of my dreams divine; longing for you
like the true son of the soil
shining like the jewel of the Nile

i feast on the diet of pure love
cradling the baby universe with glee
a whiff of sunshine

my heart leaps for joy
as you sing my name under the rose petals
fanning the flame of passion
as the creative impulse flows

it’s May Day in Utopia
the maiden
flight of the autumn leaf

love dances in the air
like the vines
of the naked eucalyptus in my garden

the heart sings as i bathe
in the vibrant glow of your beauty
savouring your nectar

autumn rose
i find my glorious path in you
putting down roots

your living fragrance energises my soul

now, unshackle your mind
and reach for the stars
for every atom
of your being contains
the living seeds
of your own success
the fragrance of love
sealed with a kiss

drive all the negative thoughts
away from your heart
and laugh and feel the love within

the sun as the Flower of Being sings
behind the scene with amorous air
hold your head high
and sow the seeds of love

let success be your guide
don’t just sit there
like a soul deprived
wake up (embrace the light and feel the joy)
and cultivate your mind
and take your chance by the horns
and taste the divine
